Savenor's Markets Introduce the Great Taste of wadda(TM) Sauces to Boston
Boston - Mar 21, 2006 Willy’s Foods, LLC announces that their wadda line of authentic, all-natural sauces and marinades are now available at Savenor’s Markets in Boston. Savenor’s Market has been a Boston family tradition for more than 65 years. The gourmet butcher shop and high-end grocer made its reputation by providing customers with the world’s finest meats and produce.
The retailer’s brand recognition reached a pinnacle with the help of America’s first celebrity chef, Julia Child. A loyal customer long before she became a household name, she used Savenor’s for all of the meats for “The French Chef” during its 11-year run on PBS. As any fan of the show can attest, Jack Savenor was mentioned frequently on-air, in addition to making several guest appearances as Julia’s beloved butcher.
Savenor’s Markets now has two locations: 160 Charles Street in Boston and 92 Kirkland Street in Cambridge, MA. Bill Downing and Andrew Bausman, owners of Willy’s Foods, are excited to be associated with such famous and highly regarded company. According to Downing, “Savenor's fine foods deserve only the very best sauces. Our sauces are a perfect match." The first delivery of Willy’s Foods wadda line of four sauces is already on the shelves at the Charles Street store:
- wadda Jamaican Jerk(TM) –- Traditional jerk flavor with balanced spice
- wadda Carolina BBQ(TM) -- Zesty vinegar- flavored authentic BBQ sauce
- wadda Mexican Fajita(TM) –- Chili- and cumin-flavored pan sauce
- wadda Waikiki BBQ(TM) –- Pineapple and tumeric taste sensation
